We are two couples of Brazilian friends who, a few years ago, moved abroad (to Germany and Ireland), each with young children.

From the beginning, we faced a common challenge for families living outside Brazil: finding good children's books in Portuguese. Often, the only solution was to pay a high price, wait for someone visiting from Brazil, or bring books in our luggage when traveling.

That's how Página Viva was born. We started by creating stories for our own kids—with engaging illustrations and narratives that sparked their curiosity. They became our best testers—always paying attention to the smallest details and quick to point out any mistakes we missed!

Today, we’ve turned that passion into a mission: to offer accessible, high-quality children's books and eBooks in Portuguese (and English), so more families can inspire a love of reading—no matter where they are in the world.
